About Me

Hei I am Katina! I am an MSW intern at Happy Place Therapeutics LLC and a Master of Social Work student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am a certified Mental Health First Aid Coach who has several years of experience in behavioral health care and mental health disability case management.

My professional background includes evaluating complex behavioral health and disability claims, helping individuals navigate sensitive circumstances, and advocating for women and children in court settings.

My clinical interests include trauma-informed care, life-skills development, and support for anxiety and depression. I believe in providing a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space where individuals feel respected and supported.  My focus is on helping clients build sustainable life skills that empower them to live their best lives now.
